ROME – A new solar photovoltaic (PV) system installation is planned for the Oneida County Correctional Facility after a grant proposal as part of the NY-Sun Awards was recently approved by Governor Andrew Cuomo. The state is looking to increase the solar capacity in New York by more than 214 megawatts through 142 proposed project sites.

SHARON SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - The upstate New York village of Sharon Springs has apparently sprung some very big leaks.
