SEE THE LIGHT A DIABETES BENEFIT FOR TOM M FROM FEAR THE DAWN This Diabetes fundraiser being held on February 19th in Port Jefferson NY. The event is being titled “See the Light a Diabetes Benefit for Tom M from Fear the Dawn.” The fundraiser will be held at Lulu’s Villa...ge Pub 1509 Main Street Port Jefferson, NY 11777-2238 and will run from 12 noon until 11pm. The event will feature musical performances from the area’s leading cover bands as well as some original artists. The event will feature guest hosts raffles give aways and food provided by local sponsors. All proceeds from the donations will go directly to Tom’s medical expenses. Tom is a local musician in his mid-30’s who has lost his sight due to his type 1 diabetes. He currently does not have health insurance and needs some extensive medical care in order to try to save what little sight he has left. We look forward to all the support we can offer our brother in arm to help him get through this tough time. The lineup will be announced shortly so stay Tuned!!!!

The Pretenders were one of the most influential bands of the late twentieth century. The band generated a sound that has undeniablystood the test of time. They touched upon a broad range of musical styles-everything from rock to reggae to pop. Who doesn't remember Middle of the Road, Brass in Pocket, Back on the Chain Gang, Talk of the Town or Precious? The band has a lengthy list to recognizable Top 40 hits that people still enjoy hearing to this day-songs like My City Was Gone, Kid, and Don't Get Me Wrong. "Hyndsight" was formed with the purpose of celebrating the music of The Pretenders. To that end, the band's repertoire consists of some of the most popular songs in recents years-songs that audiences recognize, enjoy, & want to hear again & again.
